This little fool is learning to love
With a heart that refuses to be broken.
And this little fool recalls a love
Overwhelming- and by the same token
She wants to love and share the feeling
She can’t even describe.
All she knows is that this love
Makes her feel alive.
This little fool sees the pain
In the eyes of those around her
And the loneliness and torment
And suffering astounds her.
This little fool hurts when they do
And is pleased to find a door
Into the hearts of those she meets
But wishes for yet more.
This little fool wants to thank you
For the smile she remembered to give
And for the time you used her to
Remind a broken heart why it lived.
This little fool is a beggar
For the chance to love like you,
And begs as well that you’ll remind her
When her chance is passing through.
This little fool is forgetful
Of the love you have bestowed,
But wants not just to remember
But to share it along the road.
There simply aren’t enough words
For this little fool to use;
Remind her that for those who need love,
There’s not a moment to lose.

Some people find it hard to love others. But when you look at them as Jesus does, you see a bunch of people that just need a big hug. ^^
