April 11-Fragments of Heaven

Fragments of Heaven,
Echo through the walls
And drop a bit like raindrops,
And every piece which falls
Is completely unassuming,
Unorchestrated, bold.
Every piece of Heaven
Waits, poised, to unfold.
Unleashed, the frenzied torrents
Reverberate to you.
The deafening roar of saints
Has pierced my spirit through.
I see in this an echo
Of all that is to come.
And I will join the echoes
Until my throat is numb.

These fragments of Heaven
Undulate, pervade
From simple drops to torrents
In this saintly serenade,
This abandonment to you,
And all we've yet to see.
Take over in the flood
Of love so heavenly.
Hear the echoed fragments,
Lord, and send your own
On all of us, together,
And on each of us, alone.
Those gathered won't be silent;
Tonight, Lord, you are all.
My ears are yet ringing
As the fragments fall.
