4.7: Allazo

Less often now I rest on certain stairs
And take the trails well-marked, well-lit, and smooth.
With uncertain steps my faith should grow;
Fortresses should fall and mountains move.

For faith will match the tremors blow for blow,
If earth-shaking moments come with change.
But some such as myself hold faith more loosely,
Preferring plans to stay as prearranged.

And faith is shown the door, politely, smiling,
And welcome is the piece of solid ground
Which seems the hope and end of every trouble,
But crumbles when the nameless fears abound.

But You--You've taught me faith has got it covered.
I must let go of all I planned to do.
I make my plans and move forward alone,
Only to see You've never asked me to.

How many times have I forgotten this one, only for Him to remind me of it again?
